Logistics and Transportation
Logistics is part of PLP Malaysia's supply chain that plans, implements and controls the efficient, effective, forward and reverse flow and storage of goods, services and related information in order to meet customer requirements. Partnering with global freight forwarders in order to ensure availability of both ocean and air spaces even during peak period. Multi-mode of transportation has been also approached in order to best fit with customer's expectations.
Purchasing & Supplier Engagement
Through the efforts of our Global Purchasing & Sourcing team, this function starts to become more integrated into overall PLP Malaysia business strategy and a broad based transformation of our business function is ignited, fueled strongly by the development of good supply management. With such, we find such a huge opportunity in cost reduction by leveraging the consumption in the region, which extremely brings down the cost as a whole.
